Creativity by Spot(Dot)It

I'd like to show you some of my recent learning - being creative is fun...

At breakfast, I made a pac man and ghost with my pancakes.

I made a tie-dye shirt and bandana (a creative Christmas gift).  I chose the design I wanted.  Then, I put elastics on.  Dye was the next step.  We had to leave it for 24 hours to let the dye soak in.  Finally, rinse, rinse, rinse, rinse...dry and wear.

With longer hair, I can be more creative.  At campamento Penual in Esparza (Costa Rica), my friend - Roxi - braided my hair in an inside-out French braid.  She did a very good job and I said 'gracias'!  We didn't share many other words.  I listened a lot when the kids spoke in Spanish, I'm still learning to speak - but I understand a lot.

In Antigua (Guatemala), I ordered my own pupusas (frijoles y queso is my favourite combo) at an Salvadorian restaurant.  It's de-lish-es!!!!

Creativity also includes making new friends while swimming - these new friends are from Australia and are traveling around the world for the next 6 months.  We talked about the differences between their house and ours - we learned a lot of fun things about each other.
