We stopped in the Windy City to explore...
Indeed the wind coming down the Great Lakes helped it live up to the name!
Took time to explore the Millenium Park (which was suppose to be completed in 2000 - but took til 2004 to complete). The 'Cloud Gate' was quite popular with a lot of others too...it's more common name is 'The Bean'.
All angles created fun reflections.
I think Someone is wishing for Chicago deep dish pizza at this moment...
In a strange culture moment after having spent 6 months in Central America...we all noticed that there was no one selling selfie-sticks, necklaces, scarves, whistles, flutes, drums, balls, hats, nuts in wheelbarrows or coconut milk from the back of a truck. It was much quieter than our past park experiences and we didn't have to say 'no'.
Tasty minestrone soup to warm up while our pizza cooked...it takes close to an hour to get that goodness ready.
My Pizza-making Husband has been inspired to try making these at home...none of us had ever had an authentic deep dish Chicago pizza - now, regular pizza will be compared to this cheesy tastiness. YUM!!!!
