On our West Coast trip we visited the Jelly Belly jelly bean factory near San Francisco. Our family did the self-guided tour on the factory overlook.
The whole thing was like a "How it's made" episode, giant drums tumbling, conveyor belts spinning and robotic spider arms racing to pick up the on coming candy. After the tour we raced to the sampling bar and tried as many kinds of jelly beans as possible, my two favorite kinds of Jelly Belly's are Buttered Popcorn and Chili Mango. At the end we bought three whole bags of Belly Flops (jelly beans that don't meet the standards). Even though the beans look funny they still taste the same and that makes all the difference. YUMMY!!!

I always loved getting to take a factory tour when I was a kid. I am looking forward to talking to you some about your trip when you get to camp.
